The American Red Cross responds to disasters 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including local fires and emergencies, providing emergency shelter, food, clothing, shoes, and rent to help victims on the road to recovery. 

The volunteers listed below are everyday people just like you that have been trained and are waiting to help when a local disaster occurs.  Come on in and be a volunteer at our chapter.

Disaster Action Teams (DAT)

Disaster Action Teams rotate carrying the emergency disaster pager responding to disasters occurring after office hours.  Disaster volunteers must be trained.  Disaster training classes are offered free throughout the year.
